How to play
Tap anywhere and your fish swims there. In the jungle your monkey runs, leaps and climbs there, and on the farm your piglet trots there. Go up to a sparkle to play with a friend. There are no scores, no timers and no way to lose, so little ones can explore at their own pace.
Questions parents ask
How do we get to the jungle or the farm?
On the home screen, tap Worlds, then the picture of the world you want: the reef, the jungle or the farm. The game opens on whichever world you played last.
How do I turn the music or sounds down?
On the home screen, tap the gear (Settings). There is a slider for music and one for sounds. Tap either picture to switch it off.
Some friends have a padlock. What does that mean?
Five friends in each world are free. Unlocking the reef, the jungle or the farm opens all the rest of that world's friends, once, for good. Each world also has one locked friend that is free to play each day. Look for the gold sparkle.
What can we buy?
Everything is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions and no ads.
- The Whole Reef, The Whole Jungle and The Whole Farm each unlock every friend in that world.
- Reef Pals, Jungle Pals and Farm Pals each add five more animals to play as in Dress Up.
Every purchase sits behind a grown-up check, so children can't buy anything by accident.
I bought something but it isn't showing, or we have a new device.
On the home screen, tap the gear (Settings), then Restore purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from.
- Apple: visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: open your order history on Google Play
Does the game need the internet?
No. Critter Pals works offline. The internet is only needed to buy something or restore a purchase.
Does the game collect any information about my child?
No. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and progress stays on your device. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
